London 2017 will see both the IAAF and IPC World Athletics Championships being staged at the former Olympic Stadium in the biggest sporting event to be held there since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Three sets of people are eligible for Priority Ticketing access as individuals - registered athletes, coaches, and officials (the latter needing to have a qualification and up to date DBS). Emails were sent to these people on 18 December, 26 January and 1 March. People who have received these mails but are not yet registered for the priority ticketing can use link they were sent in one of these emails.
A final email giving sign-up details will be sent to these people shortly.
If you believe you are eligible for priority ticketing but have not received an email it is likely that:
(i) we have not got an accurate or current email for you on your profile on Trinity
(ii) you have not opted in to receive communication from us on your ‘Subscription preferences’
(iii) the spam/ mail settings you have in place mean the emails have gone to your spam/ junk mail folder.
If you have not received a mailing but would like to receive the final email about priority ticketing you should log in at www.englandathletics.org/myprofile. You can use the forgotten password functionality if needed. Once logged in check your email address is correct on your ‘Personal Details’ section and that you have opted to receive information from us in the Subscription Preferences section.
Athletes should also check their registration is up to date, officials and coaches should check their DBS is up to date (if not a DBS can now be renewed online – see the link in the Personal Details section).
If you have not seen the emails but are registered/ licensed, opted in and your email details are correct you should check their junk/ spam folder. You may also want to add the send addresses to your safe senders list/ address book. For coaches and officials this is coaches&officials@britishathletics.sportmailer.com. For athletes this is
email@englandathletics.sportmailer.com.
In addition to this there was an email sent to club secretaries (or whoever is named as such on the club’s portal) on 11 February, with another scheduled for 18 March. giving clubs the chance to register 10 volunteers (including any who are not coaches or officials) for the pre-registration window.
Given the Priority Ticketing is ‘closed’ to these specific groups links to register for it are not available on the website as this would mean them becoming open to everyone.
