Photo courtesy of Paul hammond The SGRAC 6.05 Special will be running up the old Wickham Railway Line on an out and back course of approximately 6 miles - meeting at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. There will also be a shorter course of 2 miles for any walkers or injured runners. Stubbington Green Runners have invited us to join them in their annual event, so there is plenty of scope for some friendly rivalry. The start can be found on the north side of Wickham, just off Mill Lane which is a short walk from Wickham Square, however there is lots of parking in the cul-de-sac by Mill Lane, right by the start. As is customary on such occasions, we will retire to one of the local hostelries after the event for a post-race debrief and some liquid replenishment. Final details will be published nearer the time on the website and Facebook so please keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime mark the date in your diary and let’s hope that if there are leaves on the line they are the right kind of leaves!! Important Update After the run we will retire to The Black Dog, Waltham Chase for a drink and food if wanted. In order to pre-warn the pub of numbers could you please indicate whether you will require food and kindly do this in the next couple of days by commenting in the event section. http://www.theblackdogwalthamchase.co.uk/ |
