The time-honoured stubbington 10k, now in its 28th year, is notorious for its picturesque landscape, fast course and being known as one of the biggest and best races of its kind that the south coast has to offer.
The run begins in the heart of Stubbington village, taking you through a loop of country lanes, wide open fields and scenic coastal roads.
The course is flat with a sprinkle of gentle inclines. You can look forward to eight kilometers of closed smooth-surfaced roads and plenty of support along the way. There is a total of almost £2,000 worth of cash prizes to be won and spot-prizes to be awarded on the day. We are proud of being a friendly club and our volunteers look forward to welcoming you to the warmest winter 10K!

My name is Bay and I am an Events Fundraiser at Samaritans. We are looking for runners who either already have a place – or are looking for a guaranteed place in the Brighton Marathon – to support Samaritans by raising sponsorship.
Samaritans receive almost no government funding so it really is your fundraising and support that allow us to answer the 5,000,000 calls we get every year.
I have attached some information about how runners can support us and would be incredibly grateful if you could circulate this around your club, to see if you are able to generate any interest.
If you have any questions or would like printed copies of the information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

The Hedge End Running Club Member of the Month for August is Robson Trendell.
Robson has made a tremendous improvement in his running over the past few months. He had a very high participation rate in the RR10 races, comes along to training nearly every session and is clearly enjoying his running.
Well Done Robson - maintain your focus and look for even more improvement.
A £20 Alton Sports voucher will be coming your way.
