You will get free entry to the park for the day.  It is a great opportunity to give something back to the community and running in general, while also getting the chance to be part of what will hopefully be a great event.

We are looking for 120 marshalls to run the event smoothly.

You don't need any experience to help out as a marshall, but make sure you turn up in plenty of time to get your instructions and get to your place on the course. If you do have experience we would love to hear from you as you may be able to help out at the finish, or with timekeeping, or marshall co-ordination.

A nice run in the sun, well as nice as intervals get.

"Week 3" on the training schedule. 750 metre intervals fast with jog recovery, aim to complete 4 or 5. If time permits there will be an opportunity for some to trial a fitness test at the end of the session. Meet at Wildern School 7PM as normal.

The ballot for next year's London Marathon opened today, be quick if you are considering it.

It nearly slipped under the radar, but we had two members running in the Brighton Marathon two weeks ago – Janine Davies and Nicki Martin.

Both finished together with identical times of 4:32:13.
