Sarah Butler was HERC Member of the Month for November 2016.

Sarah has been a great supporter of Hedge End Running Club over the years and was one of our founder members who was there on our very first run over four years ago. 

In recent months, Sarah has performed brilliantly, representing the club in HRRL races at the Victory 5, the Hayling 10, the Gosport Half Marathon, and the Solent Half Marathon, plus running the Bournemouth Marathon comfortably within four hours in October.

Well done to Martyn Judd who was the only Hedgie to travel to Bourne Wood for the third race in the Southern Cross Country League on Sunday the 11th of December 2016. 

Martyn finished in 232nd place. 

Not surprisingly Hedge End were 23rd out of 23 clubs for men's, ladies and overall. 

Hopefully we will be able to field a full team at the next SXCL race on the 2nd of January 2017 at Lord Wandsworth College. 

Well done to everyone that went to Janesmoor Pond for cc6 race #4 on Sunday the 11th of December 2016. A great event hosted by Wessex Road Runners and Lordshill.

Saturday 3rd December 2016 - Hampshire Cross Country League - Event #3 at Popham. The women's race starts at 13.35 and the Men's at 14.30.

Sunday 11th December 2016 - CC6 - Event #4 at Janesmoor Pond, Fritham. Race starts at 09.30.

Sunday 11th December 2016 - Southern XC League - Event #3 at Bourne Wood.Race starts at 11.00.
