Congratulations to everyone that has taken part in the Lakeside 5k this year.
A magnificent 33 Hedge End members took place over the 5 race series with Henry Penfold, John McKenzie, Geoff Collins and Lisa Small competing in all 5!
Matt Risden posted the fastest HERC time of the year posting a new 5K time of 16:11 which was also we believe a PB, well done Matt.
Hedge End took 3rd place in the Alexandra Sports Inter-Club Challenge winning a £100 voucher for Alexandra sports, a fantastic achievement given the level of competition.
In addition to this Max Maxwell competing in his first year for HERC won the Mens Vet 50 category. A fantastic achievement Max! Billy will be expecting you at track some time in the near future :-)
