
She got tripped at 10 miles, got up and continued running well until 18 miles, but then things started to unravel a bit, where she threw up, fainted, then got going again after 1.5 hours in an ambulance to finish in just over 6 hours.
If that wasn't enough she got 7 family and friends to marshall at the Marwell 10K and baked cakes for the mens RR10 Race 2 team at the last minute!!
Well done Carol, well deserved.
As recognition she will receive £20's worth of vouchers to spend at Alton Sports in Eastleigh.
The award is voted for by the members of the committee and the result was unanimous.
