What a super Sunday run at Ocknell this morning. Perfect running conditions for the 15 Hedgies that made the trip to the forest. The course was an out and back with a little bit extra, proper forest trails with a small reminder that it can be muddy. The finish line cakes were delicious and the company friendly - come join us next time - free entry , free cakes and home before the teenage kids are up , what not to like??!!
HERC just scraped a womens (Vet) team together with all four women in the top ten for their category and the men were pretty impressive; Nick Whittle came in 11th and Wayne Andrews, Maurice Richardson, Alex Johnson and Michael Toomey all in the top ten for their category too. Whether we were first or last it was a fabulous morning to be running outside.
